Platforms - Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM configured around your sale, connected to the rest of the business.
Zoho CRM is capable and cost-effective, and it is also easy to install badly. We design the pipeline, data model and automation around how your team actually sells, connect it to finance, service and marketing, and make sure managers run their reviews out of it.
At a glance
- Who this suits
- B2B teams with a real pipeline that also need CRM joined to finance and service.
- Common trigger
- Spreadsheet forecasting, or a CRM that was installed and quietly abandoned.
- Scope
- Design, configuration, migration, integration, training and post-go-live tuning.
What we build
Six things that decide whether a CRM is used.
Pipeline that matches your sale
Stages defined by verifiable buyer actions rather than optimism, with clear entry and exit criteria so forecasts mean something.
A data model you can report on
Accounts, contacts, deals and products structured for how you actually segment and analyse - decided before fields start multiplying.
Automation that reduces admin
Assignment rules, follow-up tasks, approval flows and blueprint-driven process enforcement so the next action is never left to memory.
Quoting and pricing
Products, price books, discount approvals and quote templates in CRM, feeding cleanly into order and invoice processes downstream.
Reporting leadership trusts
Pipeline coverage, conversion by stage, cycle time, activity and win-loss reasons, built on data the system captures automatically.
Connections to the rest of the business
Zoho Books, Desk, Projects, Campaigns and external systems joined up so a customer record is not three disconnected versions.
Approach
From sales process to adopted system.
01
Map the sale
How opportunities arrive, how they progress, who touches them and where they stall.
02
Design the model
Objects, fields, layouts, roles and sharing rules agreed before configuration begins.
03
Configure and demo
Built in increments and demonstrated to the sales team, so it is corrected while it is cheap.
04
Migrate and integrate
Existing accounts, contacts and open pipeline loaded, with finance and marketing connections established.
05
Train and adopt
Role-based training on your data, with managers running their own reviews out of the system from week one.
06
Tune
Adoption and exception review after the first full cycle, then remove whatever is being ignored.
Fit
When Zoho CRM is the right answer.
Zoho CRM fits when
Good fit
- A defined B2B sales process with real pipeline
- You want CRM connected to finance and service
- You need configurability without heavy licence cost
- Multiple teams will share customer records
- Reporting and forecasting genuinely matter
Consider alternatives when
Weaker fit
- The need is marketing capture and nurture first
- Sales is entirely transactional with no pipeline
- Operations, not selling, is the real constraint
- Nobody will own data quality
- The process is undefined and unagreed
Cautions
Three ways CRM projects go wrong.
01Field sprawl kills adoption
Every field added must be used in a report, a rule or a decision. Otherwise it is a mandatory box that trains people to enter rubbish.
02Automate after the process is agreed
Automating a disputed process just makes the argument faster. Agreement first, blueprints second.
03Managers must run reviews in the system
If forecasting still happens in a spreadsheet, the CRM becomes optional. Adoption is a management behaviour before it is a configuration setting.
